Low table texturised brass top XXL size France 1970

Magnificent bronze table featuring exceptional dimensions at 2 meters in length. Crafted in patinated brass with a striking “droplet” shape, it boasts a beautiful natural patina that can either be enhanced or polished back to a bright golden shine, depending on preference.

This is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, likely custom-made in France in the 1970s.
In excellent condition. 

The top measures 200 × 100 cm and rests on two solid dark bronze metal bases. The tabletop is a solid 5 cm thick and rests on two oblong black metal legs. The surface shows a textured finish with a natural patina. The table is heavy, very stable on 2 oblong dark bronze metal bases, and designed for regular use.

Depending on how it is cleaned or polished, the bronze can range from a bright golden tone to a darker shade.

The piece is inspired by the work of Ado Chale, the Belgian artist and designer known for his sculptural bronze tables and unique textured surfaces.
