Ib Kofod Larsen armchair model "Carlo" wingback lounge chair designed by Ib Kofod Larsen in 1954, for Carlo Gahrn. In Denmark. Characteristic for the Carlo lounge chair is its low profile and wingback outline.

Ib Kofod Larsen created it in 1954 already. He combined classical danish craftsmanship with the then new plywood technology for manufacturing the back rest. Significant for the Carlo chair is its „thin“ edges and elegant Wingback seat.  Pulling up/down the lever under the armrest enables the reclining mechanism of the back rest, that can adjust in three positions. The mechanism to change the seat position.

Good Condition, has been totally reupholstered.
